2024 Porsche Taycan Overview
We all know about the powerful and super fancy electric car from the Porsche, The Taycan.
The latest news from Porsche is that they are unveiling an even crazier version of the Taycan. The company reported that it will be the most dynamic Taycan ever and fast.
The new Taycon dynamic version will be unveiled on the 11th of March. The detailed info on the new Tycan has yet to be disclosed, but we know it will have a big wing at the back and probably some other cool aero stuff.
It has already set some records, beating the previous Tesla S Plaid Model. The current Taycon with the Turbo S delivers 983HP, while its last model showed 750HP.
However, the upcoming Tayson might deliver more power, crossing over 1000, to compete with the Tesla Model S Plaid. It will be super quick off the line, just like the new Turbo S, which can hit 0-62 mph in 2.4 seconds – that’s 0.4 seconds faster than before! So, get ready for some swift acceleration!
The Porsche hasn’t yet announced the name of its latest model, but rumors have called it the Taycan Turbo GT. Who knows? And there’s talk of adding a third electric motor, but let’s take that with a grain of salt.
Currently, the available Porsche Turbo S is a hefty car weighing more than 5,000 pounds, and though the new Porsche gets even faster, adding another motor might make it heavier. But they might try to slim it down somewhere.
The current Turbo S has a starting price of over $210,000, which is very high. So, expect this new beast to cost even more, around $250,000.
But hey, if you want the best, you have to pay for it. That’s a lot of cash, almost as much as a Lucid Air Sapphire!
