5 Best Cars Coming to AMERICA In 2024 – Introduction

2024 is shaping up to be the year of electric vehicles, and trust me, it will be electrifying!

We’re talking about cars that make Marty McFly’s DeLorean from the movie Back to the Future look like a fossil.

Upcoming Electric cars, with their Sleek and futuristic designs, make you wonder if you’re driving a car or a spaceship. And let’s remember the cutting-edge technology under the hood.

Now, hold onto your hats because I’m about to drop the top 10 best electric cars hitting the streets of the USA this year in 2024:

Volkswagen ID Buzz

This is a Volkswagen ID buzz, and it’s creating a buzz with its classic looks, which are electrically powered. The popular microbus is finally fully electric, especially for those who love sliding doors, and it’s a dream come true.

This model has already been launched in Europe for sale as a commercial vehicle or a short-wheelbase model, but here in the United States, we’re only getting a longer-wheelbase model.

This model receives a Volkswagen MEB Platform, like the ID4 and Audi Etron Q4. It will have two different powertrains as well. Firstly, it will have 282 horsepower with 402 pounds of rear-wheel drive and 330 horsepower dual motor all-wheel drive. It has a top speed of 99 Mph.

Though the official range has not been revealed yet, there’s a rumour that it might get 250 miles, especially in the rear-wheel-drive model. It’s a minivan that includes three rows with seats for seven.

The price might be over $60,000, and I.D. Buzz might be released at the end of 2024.

Added Features:

  • 30-color ambient interior lighting,
  • Keyless entry,
  • Automatic climate control and a
  • Active safety tech
  • hands-on Level 2 highway assist.
  • Options include a 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system,
  • A head-up display,
  • A 360-degree camera system, and
  • Parking assist with remote parking.

Key Specs:

  • 91-kWh battery pack
  • Single-motor/RWD/Horsepower: 282hp
  • Single-motor/RWD/Horsepower/Torque: 406 lb-ft
  • Dual-motor/ Horsepower: 330 hp as a

Genesis GV 90

Next on the list is not the Genesis G90 or the GV80; it could be a mix of the two. Genesis has a flagship G90 sedan, and the current flagship SUV is the GV80, but we’ve heard a rumor for years now that the new flagship is coming in an SUV like the GV90.

Even though the powertrain hasn’t been officially disclosed, the GV90 SUV will probably share its base with other Hyundai Motor Group electric vehicles like the Hyundai Ioniq 7.

So, any new design after 2025 should be fully electric. However, if it arrives in 2024, it may come with the twin-turbo V6 from the G90.

The Genesis interior is fantastic even in the non-flagship model, and now imagine what it will be like in the flagship model.

The price has yet to be disclosed, but it might cost between $100,000 and $110,000, depending on your chosen version and extras.

Lucid Gravity

A potential rival of the upcoming G90 is the Lucid Gravity. This car was primarily displayed at the auto show in L.A., and its size is so huge that it might take the entire road lane—it’s like a minivan stretched by its width.

At the front, it has an upright Nobel face with the Lucid Iconic light blade up high and mouth down low, giving Gravity that sleek and powerful look and making space for a considerable frunk.

The streamlined cabin tapers down to a long aerodynamic spoiler. On the side, it has a very pronounced shoulder, which gives it a bold SUV stance.

At the rear end, it has a Lucid signature tailgate, where you notice the large cargo opening to maximize utility.

It also has an expansive glass canopy that offers an airy feeling inside with a view of the sky.

Inside the cabin, the Lucid Gravit gets the massive 34-inch, curved OLED screen right about its steering wheel. Just below that, it has a pilot panel and quick access touch bar with their new all-glass center console that can slide open to store things.

It has an expansive interior, comfortably seating seven with a flexible second row and a spacious third row designed for most adults.

These seats can fold quickly, giving you 112 cubic feet of space, including the trunk. The space in Gravity is incredible.

Packed into the Lucid Gravity powertrain is the next generation of the Lucid’s renowned powertrain.

The company reported that Gravity gets the high-voltage battery pack, which offers 440 miles with nearly half the battery size of some of its competitors.

The Lucid Gravity starts at less than $80,000, but that could still give you over 440 miles of range. The base model sedan of the Lucid Air Pure has a range of 400 miles.

Hence, it’s pretty hard to say what we will get for a $80k base model, but it could also be priced between $150k and $200k.

BMW M5

This car is being redesigned, and there’s a potential for us to get the BMW M5 Wagon.

However, it might come as a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), and the 2024 BMW M5 battery is expected to offer approximately 80 kilometers of electric driving range.

The forum post discusses the upcoming changes to the BMW M5, which will see an increase in length by 36mm and width by 70mm, resulting in dimensions of 5096mm in length and 1970mm in width, with the wheelbase extending by 43mm to 2995mm.

The new BMW M5 rocks massive 20- and 21-inch wheels, ready to turn heads and burn rubber on the road.

BMW is playing hard to get with the new M5, but leaked images online have excited us for its imminent reveal.

Sedan or wagon? The new M5 lets you choose, offering both styles for whatever suits your fancy.

It’s a showdown of the century, with the M5 taking on heavyweights like the Audi RS6 Avant, RS7 Sportback, and Mercedes-AMG E63.

Hold onto your hats because the new M5 is revving up for an international debut later this year and promises an unforgettable ride.

Tesla Model 3

Now, Tesla is not a brand you get excited to hear about, for it only occasionally releases new models.

They just released their Cybertruck, and hopefully, by the end of 2024, we will have more affordable trim levels of Cybertruck instead of the $100k Cyberbeast.

We have the Tesla Model 3 and the Model Y for the masses. However, the 2024 Tesla Model 3 still has an appealing, sleek design, a pleasing driving range, and an affordable price, making it a top choice for eco-conscious buyers.

However, it does have fit-and-finish issues, such as small interior space and a lack of standard features like Apple CarPlay and SiriusXM radio.

Since most features and functions are on one large touchscreen, this minimalistic approach may appeal only to some. The 2024 Tesla Model 3 might cost between $40,630 and $55,000, depending on trim and options.
